Print Sales Rep Wanted for Established Commercial Maritime Publication

Looking for an outside sales person, to sell advertising in a monthly trade print publication serving the West Coast maritime industry. A mix of outside and inside sales with some West Coast travel to Long Beach, CA, the Bay Area, Portland and Vancouver, BC. Full time position or contract, depending on experience and individual.

If full time, Medical Benefits and Salary plus commission.

If contract generous commission.

• Develop new advertisers
• Manage existing accounts
• Manage contracts, solicit ad materials and work with internal design team and accounting team to ensure accurate production and invoicing.

• Working knowledge of the commercial maritime or industrial landscape
• Proven sales experience
• Self-motivated and desire to work independently and within a team
• Gregarious, collaborative and articulate
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Experience in print and/or knowledge of the commercial maritime industry or industrial applications
• Local travel required, must have reliable transportation
• Good time management
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Computer literate
